Ten of Swords

Reverse:
Failure, End, Exhaustion, Tragedy, Betrayal
Upright:
Survival, Improvement, Healing, Growth
The Ten of Swords is a rather disturbing card... We have a hanging Pixie, wings cut off, impaled by all 10 swords. It's mask has been untied and is starting to fall off. Despite the Pixie's terrible condition, it is still grinning. Perhaps it's so tired of trying, that it has just accepted it's fate? This card can signify a major disaster or failure. It can also speak of a massive betrayal. You're exhausted and feel like you just can't catch a break. While right now may be incredibly difficult, the acceptance of your fate is the first step in figuring out how to move on from here.
Card in Reverse:
While you may have come to a tragic end and have hit rock bottom, the good news is you can't get any lower than you are now. In reverse, the 10 of swords tells us that you've reached the end now and you're starting to climb back up. You're starting to grow and heal from this uncomfortable time. You will be able to pull out all of the swords, one by one. Release yourself from what bounds you, and regrow your wings.
