We're looking for a part-time employee, potentially full-time employee, to join our team!

If you are someone who is passionate about making cool things and are good with your hands, then we'd love to hear from you!

Location: Coquitlam, BC, Canada (We do not do remote work)

This job is suited for people ages: 20-40's

Transit: If taking transit, we will provide you with your own compass card and pay for your transit.

We're looking for someone who can: Cut threads off of newly stitched pieces, Cut out products, Soak and dry products, Tend to the embroidery machines by changing their threads, bobbins and needles, Contribute to keeping the work-space clean.

For a full-time position, you will also learn how to clean and maintain the machines, stitch products together, detail products, as well as packing and shipping.

You will be moving around and using your hands a lot, as well as bending over a desk and machine.

This job requires no heavy lifting.

You will get paid lunch breaks.

Phantomasy is a small business and we want to stress that we do work out of our own home! While it is a home-based business, this is still a professional environment and proper work-place etiquette is expected.

Because we are a small business, we also want to make it known that this job will not always be stable. If I get sick, then there will be no work because I don't want you to also get sick. There may be times when we take mental-health/wellness breaks.

We may not always be able to provide you with paid sick-days. There is no vacation pay or benefits.
However, we do offer T4's and will contribute part of your paychecks to CPP and EI.

Hours: Work starts at 10:00 AM (this is flexible) and we finish the day when the work is completed, which is usually around 5:00 PM.

Payment: $17 per hour to start, then it will increase to $20 per hour after a 3 month probation period.

We also have a dog and a bird in our home! If you have a friendly dog of your own, you are more than welcome to bring your dog to work!
