NEW U.S. Import Policy Regulations

U.S. CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ


A 35% Tariff is being applied to my products.


After finally speaking with Zonos support, it has been confirmed that Duty-Fees will be applied.


We have a few options moving forward:

  • I can hold your order until the tariff situation potentially changes (which could happen in mid/late October, but no guarantees because I have no control/say over it). *If the tariff situation does NOT change, I will be adding the 35% tariff to my shop for future orders. If the tariff situation changes at a later date after you've paid the fee, I will 100% refund you the fee you paid.

  • I can collect the 35% tariff fee from you when your order is ready to go out and it will be sent out with no issues.

  • If you’d prefer to cancel your order, my policy normally allows for a 50% refund as I’ve already paid for the materials and labor to make it. But due to this unique circumstance, I will change it to an 85% refund just to cover some of the cost of lost materials and labor. Please understand that when canceling an order, there is no guarantee as to whether or not I can re-sell the product I already made for you to make that money back, as my products are made to order and often are made in unique colours to match my customers outfits. I have had cancelled orders sit for years because they just won't sell.


Why this is happening:

Traditionally tariffs/duty-fees are paid to that country's government when the recipient receives their package.

Due to packages being refused on the other end and being rejected at the border, the new U.S. import policy system calls for the tariff to be pre-paid BEFORE the package goes out. So the importer (the customer) needs to pre-pay for the tariff through the exporter (the seller) - which then directly goes to U.S. customs in order for packages to go through U.S. customs with no issues.


I greatly apologize for all this. Unfortunately all of this is out of my control, but I'm doing my best to come up with solutions.

Returns and exchanges:

Contact us within: 10 days of delivery

Return items back within: 30 days of delivery

The following items can't be returned or exchanged due to the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:​

  • Digital downloads

  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Incorrect address returns:
Customers are responsible for paying for a new shipping label if an incorrect shipping address is provided by the customer.

 

Conditions of return:

Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Phantomasy does not give permission to redistribute our products, or recreate our products using our designs and/or design's likeness.
