Four of Cups
Here in the Four of Cups we see a Pixie sitting under a tree, looking rather lost in thought. They seem to be contemplating the three cups that are in front of them. They are in such a meditative state, they don't even notice the other Pixie offering them a new cup. This card represents our tendency to take things and others for granted. We sometimes don't realize just how blessed we are. During times when we seek answers, we can fixate so heavily in one area, we often don't see that the answer was actually right next to us.
At this time, you may be feeling unmotivated or that perhaps there is no solution to what's been troubling you. It feels as if nothing makes you happy anymore - nothing seems to matter.
It's possible that the solution you seek is not that far away, like the other Pixie offering the fourth cup, you may just not see it.
Card in Reverse:
The Four of Cups in reverse suggests that - instead of not paying attention to the opportunities around you - you actually are more aware of what's being offered to you by the universe. You understand that life isn't perfect, there will always be ups and downs. Trying to navigate through life and find balance in the unbalanced is some how beautiful, and it feels more like an adventure rather than a struggle.
Now is a time to embrace new ideas, because you never know where it might lead you. Take pride in knowing that many people around you have their eyes closed or their heads turned to change, but you welcome it.
