Wheel of Fortune

Number 10, the Wheel of Fortune.
The wheel is surrounded by all 4 elements, water, air, earth and fire. This reminds us that everyone is subjected to what the Wheel of Fortune has in store for us, no matter what your status is. We all must experience both the good and bad that comes with life, for it is impossible to experience one without the other.
If you've been blessed with the Wheel of Fortune upright, then get ready for some positive changes heading your way! Perhaps you will be presented with an exciting opportunity, or you will be receiving good news. Maybe that thing you've been manifesting will finally arrive. Keep your eyes open, sometimes these good things are big and bold, but sometimes they may not be so obvious.
Whatever it is, remember to truly enjoy the happy times. Ground yourself in the moment and give thanks for all of the laughter and smiles.
It makes one think of a quote by Wallace Stevens, "Only the perishable can be beautiful, which is why we are unmoved by artificial flowers."
Good times are temporary, which is the reason why they are so beautiful.

Upright:
Bad luck, Misfortune, Disappointment, Unwelcome changes
Card in Reverse:
In reverse, the Wheel of Fortune can suggest that luck may not be on your side right now. Greater forces are at play, and we cannot control outside influences.
During this uncomfortable time, do not hold on to the illusion of control. Sometimes we try to fight change because we're afraid of suffering in some way. If we hold on too tightly, chances are we will just experience more pain and struggle. Try to let go and learn to accept that things may not be going as we had hoped, but this too shall pass.
Perhaps there is a silver lining. Look around you, is there something that you learned that helped you grow in some way? Many good things come out of difficult situations, we just have to look for them.
Things right now might not be ideal, but you will survive this. We have to accept that there will always be hard times, but just remember that the wheel is always turning.
